Today's card uses one of my favorite sets, Gorgeous Grunge.  This set makes a fabulous masculine card and even a trendy feminine card.

This is the perfect stamp set to mix and match with other sets, colors, punches and dies.

I think this is the first time I've used the Chevron Border Punch - why, why, why?

This card from JoAnn Freant shows a layer of the Twitterpated DSP behind the Lattice Bigz Die.  

I don't know who designed this card, but she used the same pattern of DSP from the Twitterpated pack, along with some punched pieces to make the flower.

It's time for a scrapbook page!  This has been a good challenge for me.  I'm trying to do one scrapbook page each week with the different showcase sets.  Today is a 12" x 12"  Halloween page using the Googly Ghouls stamp set.

The tree was may favorite accent on the page.  It was cut freehand from Basic Black Card Stock.

These little guys would look adorable holding trick or treat sacks from the Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set  (123946).  I'm trying to just use the one set on the sample, so that would have been cheating.  :(  But I may add them later.  :)

This card was made by one of my downline, Cindy Arnold.  I love the combo of Betsy's Blossoms set and  the Bring on the Cake set.  

Bling was the theme of the night!  I love the Silver Glimmer Paper and the Dazzling Diamonds details on the numbers "50", get it?  

The card was made by another friend and downline member, Bridgette Caples.  This was unfortunately, one I didn't guess.  Not sure why, but mmmmmm.... I'll have to work on that.  

I love the embossed background with the Hodgepodge Hardware (I miss it)!

Toady is the final day of my You're Amazing Showcase.  I saved the best for last.  Okay, so I admit it!  This project is the whole reason I purchased this stamp set early, even though I knew I was going to get a free one at convention.  I made a bunch of these for 3D swaps at convention and they went like hotcakes!  I love the smell of peanuts and munched on some while I put these together.  I had to go out an buy another bag for the family too.  I was sweeping peanut shells for days!!!!

We left yesterday to move our oldest daughter, Kim, down to Tallahassee, FL to start grad school at Florida State.  My husband John and I are both graduates of the University of Florida (Gators), so this is especially hard for us both.  Kim is very understanding and has agreed not to attend any sporting events or wear FSU clothing items in our presence.  She is earning a Master's in Film Production, so everyone wish her well.  Katie also moved into her dorm yesterday at Arkansas State University for a week of pre-season band practice.  She is the section leader of the front ensemble, so she has her work cut out for her.  Hopefully, her sisters helped her move in.  I wish we could be in two states at once!  Next year, we'll have 3 in college when Jackie graduates.  Look out!

TIP:  Sometimes the Glimmer Brads are hard to open and tend to stick together.  Before you put them in, insert the sharp end of the piercing tool in the gap at the bottom of the tines, and pry them open a little.  Insert into your project and they're ready to set.
