Thank you to all the wonderful ladies who attended the annual Christmas in July Stamp Camp.  We had 41 attendees, 17 projects (including a thank you card for St. Mark's Church), tons of great food and door prizes for everyone.  Special thanks go out to Mary Harvey and Laura Diamond for coming over for an evening of die cutting to save everyone some time.  A big thank you to Michele Murphy for setting up the church for us and helping with clean up.  Thank you also to Mary, Laura and Janet for staying late and helping to clean up.  My biggest thank yous go to my family (Katie, Jackie, Samantha, John and Matt) for helping load, unload, set up, clean up, design feedback, cooking their own meals while I stamped, an so on....

I'm on a roll now.  Two in a row, can you believe it?!  I wanted to share more of the swaps I participated in at Convention.  This card was for the SUDSOL (Stampin'Up! Demonstrators Sharing Online) Card Front Swap.  Supplies include:  Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry card stock, Floral District DSP, Everything Eleanor and Word Play stamp sets, Rich Razzleberry ink, and a Pearl Basic Jewel.  I also made several of these for general swaps.  It's always good to do double duty if possible.

This is another general swap I made.  Supplies:  Baja Breeze, Basic Black & Whisper White card stock, Silver Glimmer Paper, the new Snow Flurry Bigz Die from the Holiday Mini Catalog, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel.  The verse is from the More Merry Messages stamp set.

My favorite swap of the week was the SUDSOL Gift Exchange during our luncheon on Friday.  It's not only my favorite because this was my favorite thing to make (which it was), but because there were some wonderful projects from some very talented ladies.  I decided to make a Christmas shadow box framed art piece.

Thursday evening was the Awards Night, followed by the After Party.  The party included dancing and some great snacks.  Yes, we even managed to get Janet to dance.

We also received a sneak peek at the August recruiting promotion.  Everyone who signs up during the month of August as a Stampin'Up! Demonstrator will receive a FREE Spooktacular Project Kit.

Ahoy Everyone!  This is my very first post.  Please bear with me as I learn how to manage my blog.  I'll be adding and changing as we go.  I just had to get started, so I thought the first thing I would talk about is the 2012 Stampin'Up! Convention that we just attended in Salt Lake City.  I went with two of my wonderful downline members and good friends - Janet Hathcoat and Laura Diamond.  We had a great time!  We had a tour of the Stampin'Up! Home Office, attended classes, stamped, swapped cards, took photos and had a blast.  Here are a couple of photos taken at our headquarters.  The weather was gorgeous.

We all participated in open swaps, as well as organized swaps.  Here is my swap for the SUDSOL Card Candy Swap.  I decided to do a "Bird" theme.   All the birds were made using various punches.  The topper uses the Owl Builder punch and the new Take Care stamp set.

The three of us participated in a Make and Take Swap on Saturday night after convention.  Here is the swap I provided.   Supplies include:  Open Sleigh stamp set, Northern Flurry Embossing Folder, Scallop Squares Duo Bigz Die, Antique Brads, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Card Stock (Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Glossy White), Frost White Shimmer Paint, Stampin' Sponges, and ink (Crumb Cake and StazOn Black).

Well, I hoped you enjoyed my very first post!  I can't wait to share more on convention next time!

Check out the new Holiday Mini Catalog!  Tons of great new stamps, papers, accessories and more.
