Today is the last day of our Snow Much Fun showcase.  Here is the last card we made at the Stamp-a-stack event.

I love using blues and browns together whether it's Christmas or not.  

Here's a closer look.  Each word was stamped and cut out individually. We also used snowflakes on the back ground with the new Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad.

This was made last year, so the DSP is retired, but could easily be changed up with current DSP and a doily from the Delicate Doilies Sizzlit die.  

This is one more from last year.  The lace punch is retired, but you could easily use a strip of DSP or a current punch to add a little accent.

I received this cute tissue holder as a swap at convention, so I re-worked it to use the Snow Much Fun stamp set.

Here's my version using Snow Much Fun.  The "Running" is made on MDS which is 50% off until Wednesday!!!

The embellishment is made using the Merry Mini's Punch pack.  

Here are the measurements to make your own.  Cut your card stock at 4-1/2" x 7-1/4". Score along long edge at 2-3/4", 3", 5-3/4" and 6".  The smallest panel tucks under the scallop circle on the front of the project.  Make sure to attach the scallop circle only on the bottom half.  

Here's a photo with the project open.  I used a little Snail Adhesive to hold the tissue packet in place.

Today's post is a card from CJ Summers in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  Super quick and cute!!

Although we don't have the embossing folder she used on the Pool Party card stock, you could substitute the Petals-a-Plenty or Perfect Polka Dots Folders.  

A little sponging makes the sentiment pop, even using the same color card stock. 

The tiny pearls add a little something extra, don't you think?  It's hard to tell, but the snowman is heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder.

I showed a sneak peek of this card last week.  We're making this at our Stamp-a-stack class on Thursday.

The color combination is Real Red and Island Indigo.

I have a couple projects to share with you today, but want to brag on my girls first.  My oldest 2 daughters, Kim and Katie, have an etsy store where they sell minimalistic posters and other items.  They design these themselves and have done fairly well so far.  A few days ago, they were featured in New York Magazine's Gift Guide list of Pop-Culture Presents.  They are on the front page of the listings.  Kim designs custom Game of Thrones House Sigil Posters.  You can view the link here:  New York Magazine  Scroll down to the 7th item on the list.  They are one of just 2 hand made items in the guide.  Their etsy store can be viewed here:  EskimoChateau.  I'm more excited than they are, but that's my privilege as a mother.

Okay, so when we were taking our items to the craft show last weekend, we stopped at Sonic to get drinks (my idea) and the roof dripped on my boxes in the back of the truck.  One of the problems with papercrafting, is you can't get your projects wet (normally).  So I had about 8 Thanksgiving M&M treats that didn't survive the drip.

These are the pieces that suffered water damage. 

But no fear!  They were still salvageable, so I made a double page scrapbook layout with the damaged pieces.

Here are a few close ups.  Can you even tell they were water damaged?

The acorn was made with the Ornament Punch #119847 and the Large Oval Punch #119855.   The leaves were die cut with the  Autumn Accents Bigz Die #127812.  So, if you think you can use it, don't throw it away!  These 2 pages only took me about 15 minutes to make since most of my supplies were already cut!

I love this set!  We're making 5 each of 3 designs at the event.  Don't you love the bling?  This is also a quick and easy fun fold.  

Today's post is a decorated hanging tile.  We made these at the Hostess Tea last December and I thought I'd finish up my box of tiles.  These are smooth, white tiles, so I used Basic Black Craft Ink to stamp, then heat embossed with Clear EP.  The tiles were cool, so it took a lot longer to melt the embossing powder.  I used the Snow Much Fun stamp set for this tile.

After the outlines were heat embossed, we colored the images with markers, then used clear embossing powder of them and heat embossed a second time.  The fabric is from our Candy Cane Christmas Designer Fabric(currently in our clearance rack) and the Real Red CS border is made using the Adorning Accents Edgelits dies.  

Here's a closer look at the embossing.  This seals the color and keeps it from smearing.
