Paper Pumpkin Surprise...

Fall cards in February, they both start with "F", right?

Okay, I stated that I had missed some blogging time in November, ummm, through January, right?  So I wanted to share some fall projects I had in my "to do" stash.   This first one was my bonus project for my Paper Pumpkin subscribers.

I used some retired Designer Series Paper and leaves from the Leaflets Framelits Dies.  I send a bonus project out each month for my Paper Pumpkin subscribers, so if you want to join and try it out, click here!  

This cute card also used the Leaflets Framelits Dies, along with the Paisleys & Posies stamp set.  The Copper Foil accents and heat embossing making this card super gorgeous in person.  

The was a fun treat holder we made using the Paisley's & Posies suite of products.  You can still order the dies and stamp set here.  

This last card was a swap card I made for the Kansas City OnStage event with Stampin'Up!.  I made this one for the PJ swap.  It also used the Paisley's & Posies stamps along with the Vintage Leaves stamp set.  

Although it's hard to tell, I water colored the leaves, then added some Wink of Stella Gold Glimmer Pen over the leaves.  Love this card!

Handmade Fall Card Ideas - Day 3 of 5!

Welcome back to day 3 of our Handmade Fall Card Ideas series.  Yesterday, our theme was orange, today, it's all about the browns.  Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year.  I actually have been doing some raking and weed pulling in the back yard just to be outside.  If you know me, yard work is not my thing, so I really do love cool weather and when everything turns brown.  There are just soooo many shades mixed in with greens, yellows, reds and more.  I have several cards to share today using different shades of browns with other colors.

This first card is from Crew Stamper Sharon Milburn.  Sharon used the Christmas Pines bundle to create this great fall card (this is a very versatile stamp set).  Sharon used Soft Suede along with other fall colors and some Warmth and Cheer Designer Series Paper and Copper Foil Paper.  Love it!

Sharon has a little Copper Thread and a bit of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon as embellishment.  She textured the Soft Suede card stock with the Pine Bough Embossing Folder.  Lovely card!  

Our next project is a beautiful thank you card from Crew Stamper Laura Diamond.  Laura used the Tuscan Vineyard stamp set in browns and other fall colors.  She also used some of the Burlap Ribbon - great for fall projects! Laura used Early Espresso and Crumb Cake browns on her project.

I love all the rich colors on this fall Tuscan Vineyard card!  

The last couple cards I wanted to share with you were some Paper Pumpkin Bonus Projects I sent out to my subscribers.  I sent the supplies and a couple sample photos for them to make another project with their kit supplies.  I used Early Espresso and some of the Petals and Paisley's Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Handmade Card Ideas From Friends

Today I have 7 great Handmade Card Ideas from Friends to share with you.  These were sent to me for my birthday last month (I've been saving them to share) and a congrats card for earning the Stampin'Up! incentive trip.  Our trip to Thailand with Stampin'Up! isn't until next July, but Samantha and I are super excited. We've already signed up for several excursions including a Thai cooking class, an elephant ride through the jungle, a spa day and some cultural tours.  Anyway, enough dreaming for now, on to those beautiful cards!

This is the card my Mom gave me for my birthday.  It was in the same batch of cards as the other, but hey, I love it!  It's not the first card I made for myself and it won't be the last - lol!

This next card is from my friend and downline member Mary Harvey.  No, it's not a Stampin'Up! card but Mary knows I love my coffee, so she made it just for me.  She knows how to make me happy and included a Starbucks gift card inside.  We have a new one opening up about 2 blocks from my house - I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

This beautiful card is from another good friend Laura Diamond, congratulating me on earning the trip.  It's hard to tell in the photo, but she has some Glimmer pen on the main flower and bee. You're so sweet Laura! 

 This next card is from my good friend Janet Hathcoat.  Janet has been stamping with me longer than anyone, so I always love getting her cards.

I love the fun shape on the front of this card and all the great colors.  Janet also knows I like bling, so lots of great Rhinestones in the center of each of those flowers.  

This last card is from another friend and downline member Sharon Milburn.  Sharon is our designated "Over the top" stamper and everything she does is beautiful, layered, embellished and well, over the top!

I wanted to share the rest of our Christmas in August projects today.  I hope you enjoy.

This fun treat holder was made using the Curvy Keepsake Box Dies and the Layering Squares Framelits dies.  The words are from the new Yummy Little Christmas stamp set

This cute tag was tied to a bagged candy apple (didn't get a photo of that - sorry).  The tag was die cut with the Tags & Labels Framelits Die.  The words were stamped with the Candy Cane Christmas stamp set and heat embossed with the Emerald Envy Glitter Embossing Powder.  A bit of doily and some Warmth & Cheer Washi Tape.   

This cute little Hershey Nugget Tray is quick and easy to make.  The face, scarf and hat are stamped with the Snow Place stamp set and cut with the Snow Friends Dies.  These fit perfectly in our 2"x8" Cello Bags.  

This peppermint filled ornament was made from the July Paper Pumpkin Kit.  These adorable gem shaped boxes work perfectly for Christmas ornaments.  The tag pieces were die cut from the new Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies and the words are from the Oh, What Fun stamp set.  There are still kits left for these boxes, but you must be a Paper Pumpkin subscriber to order them.  

This was one of my favorite projects.  Quick and cute!  I found these fun rock candy sticks online at candystore.com and ordered a bunch.  They fit in our 2x8 Cello Bags and then were tied with some Silver Glitter Ribbon. The tags were cut from the Curvy Keepsake Box Die set and the "Merry" banner is from the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set.  

I'll be making some of these for the Li'l Bita Christmas show in November.
