Weekly Deals, Stamporee photos and a teen card!

I think I'm recuperated from the Stamporee on Saturday, but I'm still working on the extra kits ordered and getting ready for all the events coming up this month!  The calendars came in yesterday - woohoo - so we should be set for the make up calendar classes.  I'm going to start today with the weekly deals, share some photos from the Stamporee and then show you one of the cards we made.

I'm loving these deals and will be stocking up on Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper!

I'll be sharing a few photos each day for the rest of the week from the Stamporee:

These were the extra prizes for everyone who wore their Crew T-shirts.  I filled our Tiny Treat Boxes with a covered mini post it note pad, ribbon an embellishment and chocolate.

I wrapped a strip of DSP around the box, made a flower and attached it to one of our In Color Clothespins - I love those things!!

The calm before the storm!

The storm!  LOL!  Although it looks like a lot of people were getting food or die cutting in this photo.
Here at table 6, we had 3 generations of stampers - Emma, Sharron and Sherrie!
Laura and Ashley were on the other side of the table (2 generations of stampers).
We made a card out of Laura's phone!  See the card below!
This was our teen girl birthday card.  The card base measured 3-1/4" wide and 5-1/2" tall and opens from the bottom.  This made the perfect phone shape after rounding all the corners.  I also used the Word Bubble Framelits Dies with a mixture of stamps from the Just Sayin' and @SoSocial stamp sets.

Word Bubbles Framelits Dies

The last few days have been crazy and full of driving - ugh!  I had picked up Samantha in Conway on Saturday, then Sunday was spent doing laundry and working on Kim's 12th grade year, then I finished up family trips and events for the next 4 years that I didn't put in the college album.  I spent 10 hours on the road yesterday going to Fayetteville and back, so I didn't do anything yesterday.  I bought some post extenders today and assembled the whole album.  I think this will be the biggest.  I have some other Stampin'Up! things to catch up on today, but I'll also be cleaning, straightening, regrouping and getting ready to start on grades 9,10 and 11 tomorrow.  Here are a few pages and the completed album.  The front is plain (I had bought 3 of these red albums a while back), so I may put something on them later.

I really like using a mixture of the 12x12 full pages with CS or DP and the pocket pages.  That way I get a little more the decoration in, but have a place to put all the extra photos without having to think about decorating each page - yay!

Plus, I've been saving all these Harry Potter, film, graduation and a bazillion other stickers for the past 20 years.
Hoping to have more to share tomorrow!

It's been a few days since I last posted.  I had a cold last week and am finally feeling better, but even that didn't stop all the other events happening the last few days.  We've had girl scouts, band activities, along with stamping classes, so I'm finally finding a few minutes to share with you!!

We had a teen card class recently, so I thought I'd share those with you this week.  Today's card is a fun owl card.

I used the Circle Card Thinlit Die to create this fun card.  The colors used are Melon Mambo, Early Espresso and Whisper White.

The word bubble is made with the Just Sayin' stamp set and Word Bubbles Framelits Dies in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I used a 5-3/8" x 8-1/2" piece of Melon Mambo CS and ran it through the big shot with the long end sticking out on top of the die so it wouldn't cut through.

A variety of punches were used to make the owl.

Supplies used:  Card stock - Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Silver Glimmer Paper and Bright DSP Paper Stacks.
Ink - Early Espresso / Stamp set - Just Sayin' and Itty Bitty Banners
Misc: Big Shot, Circle Card Thinlit Die, Word Bubble Framelits Dies, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, 1-2" Circle punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Owl Builder punch, Linen Thread, White Chalk Marker

Just sayin'-- these six positive sentiments will let someone know how much you appreciate them. And the Word Bubbles Dies make cutting the Just Sayin' images quick and easy.

We had our annual Girl Scout Thinking Day event on Saturday and our troop decided to do a booth on Nicaragua, so here's a few photos.
