Swirly Bird...part 2

I have two more cards to share today using the Swirly Bird Bundle.  We made these at a class last month and I'm loving the versatility of this set.  Too many ideas, not enough time!!

This is a cute engagement, wedding or anniversary card.  I used the larger die circle for a wreath, then stamped and cut out the birds and nest.  Some added hearts, bling and a sentiment finish off the card.  The background was stamped with the Hardwood stamp.  Words were heat embossed with White EP mixed with a  little Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  Words are from the B.Y.O.P. stamp set.  

The fun baby card was made with the Swirl Bird set.  I used the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, some Serene Scenery DSP and a little Island Indigo Baker's Twine.  Words are from the Crazy About You stamp set.  Colors used are Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Soft Sky and Whisper White.

Thailand, here we come...and a couple cards for baby...

I wanted to post some exciting news today.  After 14 years, I have finally earned the Stampin'Up! Incentive Trip - WOOHOO!  I've earned a couple smaller weekend getaway trips to California, but this is the first big trip.  I need to thank all my wonderful, loyal customers for helping to make this happen.  I especially want to thank my fantastic downline, and all those promotions this year, helping achieve this goal with 3 months to spare!  I couldn't have done it without all your hard work and commitment to Stampin'Up! The trip isn't until July 2017, so I have some time to save up for extra fun stuff while we're there.  I'll be taking Samantha (my youngest) with me, so this will be a great trip for her as well.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Cards for baby...

I wanted to share some cute baby cards we've made at a few classes:

This is a great all purpose baby card.  Made this in our baby card class.  I used the corrugated paper, but regular Crumb Cake or Kraft card stock would work fine.  

We made this card in our pop up class.  Love it!

I really love the little outfit from the Something for Baby stamp set.  

This is another card we made at the Baby Class.  The Celebrate Today is a very versatile set and the dies are fabulous.  

For baby....

I have a sweet baby card to share today.  This card uses the B.Y.O.P. and Barnyard Babies stamp sets.

I chose the Crumb Cake and So Saffron color scheme so this would work for either a boy or a girl.  The So Saffron card stock was embossed with the Lucky Stars Embossing folder.  The lamb was stamped on the Crumb Cake circle and then again on Whisper White card stock and the fleece was trimmed and adhered to the card. A Dazzling Diamond Glimmer star adds a little sparkle.  The inside says "welcome little lamb."  Too cute!

Friends & Flowers - Sweet Pea...

Today's card is the last of our Friends & Flowers projects (at least for a little while).  This cute baby card features a fun opening.

The Farmer's Market Designer Series Paper worked perfectly for this card.  I used some Thick Vanilla Baker's Twine to hold the card closed and a few tiny Pearls for a little embellishment.  

I used the pea image from the stamp set and colored it using Blender Pens and Old Olive and Blushing Bride ink pads.  The pea pod was stamped directly on the card stock square, then stamped again on scrap Vanilla card stock, trimmed and popped up with Dimensionals.  The Sweet image is from the Bravo stamp set and the "Pea" is made using the Back to Basics Alphabet set.  

Here is the card open.  Love it!
