Our final day in San Diego. Ironically, we spent it in Laguna Niguel.  We took the train from downtown San Diego up to San Juan Capistrano and Chris picked us up.  We went to his new office - he just became a State Farm Agent and opened his office 2 weeks ago.  We spent an hour or so rearranging his office, went to lunch and then over to his home for a great visit.  The train ride was fantastic on the Amtrak Surfliner right on the coast.  Here are a few photos:

Here's the inside of the train, upper deck.
There were a ton of surfers out on the ocean Saturday morning. This was the view out the train window.
Lunch on the beach at the Laguna Hotel.
John's brother Chris outside his building on Pacific Coast Highway - whoot!
We arrived back at the hotel about 11:00pm.  Look what was waiting for us:

Another fun surprise from Stampin'Up!
wMy birthday was last week and although it wasn't quite as eventful as last year (my 50th), we had a good time with the girls.  I also received some great cards, so I thought I'd share a few of those.

This card was from Janet and used the Lattice Die a framelit and vellum.
A closer look at the detail - beautiful!
This little card came on the gift Janet gave me.  Too cute!
My mother broke down and made me a card all by herself!  She did sneak in and use my supplies, but I'll give her a pass - lol!  Thanks mom!

Heading back to the airport in an hour or so and will be back in Jonesboro late tonight.  Lots of workshops happening this week, so I hope to see some of you soon!
