10 Days of Halloween .... day 9!

Today's project is a cute bag treat holder.  I have cocoa in mine, but you could put an apple cider packet, or any flatish (Is that a word? I don't think so) treat.  I used the Glassine Treat Bags for this project but the cocoa was showing through so I just added a sleeve of white card stock inside to hide the treat.  The tag is stamped with the Jar of Haunts stamp set.

Day 4 of Bloomin' Love...

Today's project is a cute treat holder / gift card holder using the Mini Treat Bags Thinlits Dies, along with the Bloomin' Love stamp set and suite of accessories.

Treat bag was cut and assembled with the Love Blossoms DSP stack.  The bottom flap was cut off and folded up 2" to create a two pocket holder.  

A card was made to go in the top pocket of the treat holder.  The lower pocket holds a Ghirardelli chocolate or a gift card.  A belly band with cute tag goes around the whole thing.

Halloween Treat Bags!

It has been crazy busy at the Risi house lately and I've not posted in a while - so sorry about that.  I do have lots to share, so the next few days will feature some fun Halloween treats.  

I have 3 treat bags to share today.  Two of the bags are very similar.  One we made at our Halloween Treat Class last Friday night and the other we made at a World Card Making Day event.

This is the project I designed for the Halloween Treat Class.  We sponged the Sketched Dots Gift Bag to look like a candy corn.  The tag was made with Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper, Black Glimmer Paper, Tangelo Twist and Hello Honey card stocks.  The image is from the Among the Branches stamp set and heat embossed with Black embossing powder mixed with black glitter.  A partial Spider Web Doily was glued to the back of the tag.  I used a little Happy Haunting Washi Tape on a Clothespin, tied a little Black Baker's Twine around it and added a Rhinestone colored with a black Sharpie.  I used the 2" and 2-1/2" Circle Punches.  

This bag was designed by Mary Harvey and is very similar (great minds think alike).  The bag was sponged the same way.  The tag was made with the same Designer Series Paper and a Spider Web Doily was also used.  Mary used the Sweet Hauntings stamp set to make the poison bottle and tag, then added the Black Baker's Twine and a fun candy corn brad.  There was candy in it, but I ate it and replaced it with popcorn (which I will eat later - ha)!

This project was designed by Kathy Weston for the World Card Making Day event.  Kathy used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies to make the bag, then we embossed it with a spider web embossing folder (non SUP).  We added some retired Designer Series Paper around the bag, some fringed Basic Black card stock and a strip of Washi Tape.  The little spider stamp adds a fun touch.
