Had our end of the year band concert last week with an Americana theme.   Our new auditorium in the Performing Arts Center isn't finished yet and they've gutted the old auditorium, so we were in the field house this year for our concert.  It actually sounded nice, but a bit on the warm side.

Jackie present the directors with their end of the year gifts.  Mr. Warner received a custom made french horn music stand, Mr. Hendrix received a bobble head of himself (a must for every Jonesboro director) and our grad student received a gift card.  Nancy Malcom also made up some photo collages of the seniors and we had them matted and the signed by the kids.

Here are a few punch art cards that are fun for any occasion.  The first one uses the Pennant Parade stamp set and Petite Pennant Builder Punch.

This next card uses a variety of circle punch and a couple others to make an adorable mouse and cheese card.

The card was made by Kelly Mayou.

Here's a close up of the mouse.  It uses the Large Oval, Boho Blossoms, 1/2" Circle and 1/4" circle punches.
This last card was made by Mandy Beliew for one of our Demonstrator make and takes.  She used a variety of Circle punches to make a Leggo themed card.

The words come from the Word Play set retiring at the end of the month.

The larger circle are 3/4" and the smaller are 1/2"

My Googly Ghouls sample today is a swap I received at Convention.  The Demonstrator didn't put their name on it, so I don't know who to give credit to.  I did color the image and added the Boooo tag and some googly eyes.

Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla, Basic Black Card Stock, Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP (126906)
1/2" Tangerine Tango Scallop Dots Ribbon (124144), Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit, markers, sponges.

Here are two more birthday cards:

This card was made by Janet Hathcoat.  I guessed hers.  She's been stamping longer that I have and this is an old set, so her's was easy.  Sorry Janet - lol!  I love how the envelope looks like a hat box.
I love the shading with sponges on the hat and the flower accents.  Too cute!
Okay, I made this card, but I sent a box of cards to school with Kim and this is the one she sent me.  I love the Petite Pennants Builder Punch and how it coordinates with the Pennant Parade stamp set.  I used the punch on Sunday's project as well.

I love making paper flowers!!!  They are so quick and easy and you can make a bunch with very few supplies.  Here is another tutorial on making poppies.

I used the following circle punches:  1-3/4", 1-3/8", 1", 3/4".  I also used the Christmas tree punch from the Merry Mini Punch Pack in the Holiday Catalog.

Let's trim the tree! Little star, ornament, and tree punches. Shapes coordinate with the Merry Minis Stamp Set.

I helped with a baby shower last Sunday.  Haven't gone to one of those in years, so I volunteered to make some fruit trays and then had a blast making picks and a mini banner.

The picks were actually meant for the cupcakes, but they were already super cute, so we used them in the fruit and cheese.

The colors used were Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White and Silver Glimmer Paper.

The round picks use animals from the Fox and Friends stamp  set and the "baby" stamp from Pennant Parade

The pennants were made with the Petite Pennants Builder Punch and the words were from the Nursery Necessities stamp set.

I used some of our Designer Patterned Paper for the banner pennants.  Too cute!!!
