Taking Christmas photos at our house is always a long event.  The girls have to mess around for about an hour before they decide on 10 different poses for the photo.  I put the top 2 on a photo card and the bottom 2 are just some of the fun ones they insisted I take.  

Here's a bird house my friend Bridgette made for me.  I love the retired Christmas DSP she used to cover it and music notes are perfect for our family.  Using a little Modge Podge and paint, you can cover almost anything made of wood, chipboard, metal or glass.  

Another friend, Michele, made this great kimono for me for the hostess tea.  I love it!!!!!  What a thoughtful gift!  

Here are the last of the Hostess Tea photos.  Don't forget that all you have to do to receive an invitation to next year's tea is host a qualifying workshop of $150 or more, sometime during 2013.

The door prize table!  Everyone gets a door prize!  Just another reason to host a workshop.

I had out some items from the craft show.  Hostesses were able to shop at their leisure and they also get a discount during the tea!

Here are a couple ornaments we made at the Tea.

It was an Asian theme, so of course, we had to make a Japanese lantern ornament.  

It's hard to tell, but the Whisper White card stock was sprayed with Champagne Mist Glimmer Paint Spray . 

This is a super quick and easy onion shaped ornament.  

We used 2-Way Glue Pen on all the edges, then dipped it in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  

In today's post, I'm going to share a few more photos from the Hostess Tea and a sneak peek at some  products coming out in the new Spring Mini Catalog on January 3rd!

We went with a Cherry Blossom theme.  Now, keep in mind, these photos were taken about 2 hours after our grazing started.  

Asian Meatballs and  Mushu Pork with Manderin Pancackes.

Various styles of eggrolls (those were gone early), Sai's Lemon Grass Soup, Kat's Egg Drop Soup and Bean Noodle Soup.  I made the little food tags to look like Japanese lanterns.  

Asian Noodle Salad and fruit with lechees.  

Shrimp Fried Rice and Chicken Drumsticks with Asian Bar-b-q sauce.  

Thai Chicken Meatballs, Pork in Red Bean Sauce, Asian Fried Peanuts, Phoenix Tail Salad with dip and a little, bitty bowl of Wasabi Peas.

Here is a New Year's card featuring one of our new single stamps, New Year's.  This can be found here.  The number is 132336, for $6.95 and it's in Single Stamps Assortment 2.  These are available until Jan. 2nd.

The image was stamped with Versamark, then heat embossed using Silver and Gold Embossing Powder.  

The Champagne and Silver Glimmer Paper add a wonderful touch for the celebration card.  The new Bottle Cap embellishments will be available in 2 sizes with the new Spring Mini.

Oh my gosh!  I've not posted in 2 days - this is my first lapse.  I'm sure I'll have more, but will try not to.  We had our annual Hostess Tea on Sunday, so I thought I'd share some moments from that, so you'd know what I've been up to.  Tomorrow, I'll post some photos of the projects we made.

I love to decorate for the Tea in a theme, so this year we had an Asian theme.  Katie baked homemade fortune cookies and I added a "stamping fortune" and decorated each one differently.  Fun!

My good friend Jan Mather had given me a large sleeve of these take out boxes a while back and I was saving them for the perfect occasion.  I stamped some images from the retired Asian Artistry stamp set (borrowed from Mary Harvey - thanks), then tied ribbon and added a 3D flower.  

Here is the place setting with a fan, mini handmade fan pin, tea tin, chopsticks and fortune cookie box.  

Katie and I spent about 4 days baking and cooking, so here are some of the food photos.  This was our dessert table.  I'll share more tomorrow.

Candy Sushi.  OMG - too much fun to make!  This was about 1/2 of what I made.  Yes, I tend to overdue everything, but I had a plateful for our Girl Scout party the next day.
