Merry Monday - Peace This Christmas...

Although the Holiday Catalogs are filled with lots of great new products, Stampin'Up! has added some holiday sets to the annual catalog.  Today's featured set is the Peace This Christmas stamp set.  I love the two sentiments in the set, plus the several coordinating images.  These three projects showcase this set and the coordinating This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (still available through May 31st).

This is a fun gift packaging idea using our Glassine Gift Bags.

No special tools needed for this one.  Vanilla and Black card stock, DSP and Black twine and ink.  Great card for mass production!

This fancy fold gift card holder is perfect for a special someone.  I used Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Silver Glimmer Paper.  This is the front.

Opened just a touch, it stands on it's own.

Here it is fully opened.  The gift card fits in the top pocket.  This card is super sparkly and lovely in person.

Merry Monday - Merry Mice....

I thought it might be fun to have Merry Monday for a while and see how it goes.  Make sure to let me know in the comments section if you like it.  So....every Monday, I'll post some holiday projects to give you ideas for next year.  I'll start out with a few projects from last season and then some we've made but are carryover sets.

Today's projects feature the Merry Mice set from the 2016 Holiday catalog. This set was super cute and we had a class on it.

We used the Holly Embossing Folder and the wreath/bow from the Santa's Sleigh Framelilts. The door was made from an oval die with the bottom trimmed off.

This card also used the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies for the pine bough and the Pine Bough Textured Embossing Folder.

This adorable tag was made with the Lots of Labels Framelits.
I used inks to watercolor all three projects with the same color scheme.  Although the Merry Mice stamp set is now retired, you can probably find it on ebay and if you already have it, then well done!  The other items used can be found on our carry over list here.

Lots of holiday cards from the Crew...

A while back I had promised to share some of our holiday cards I had missed out on showing you. Well, once again life happened and I've gotten behind.  I'm trying to make a valiant effort to get back on track, so please be patient.  Thank you!

Today I'm sharing lots of wonderful holiday cards that I received in a swap from our Crew stampers. Yes, I know the holidays are over, but there are only 292 days until Christmas, so you'd better get started on those cards soon! Many of the stamps used in these cards are still available from the annual catalog or on our carry over list and will most likely be in the new annual catalog, so don't fret!  If something is retired, you can always substitute for a similar set if you don't have it.

This gorgeous card is from Sharon Milburn.

She used a new fun fold technique for the inside.  Love the details!

Mary Harvey made this lovely rustic card using manly colors - love it!

Vicky Collins made this fun ornament card using the Merriest Wishes bundle.  Great colors!

This is a sleigh ornament that I made for the swap.  I used the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies.

You could put a few lightweight treats inside.

This bright and cheery card is from Lucy Taylor.  Love the silver heat embossing.

Janet Hathcoat made this great wreath card.  I love the combination of aged sponging and the gold glimmer paper.

This adorable moose card was made by Laura Diamond - so cute and a great combination of stamp sets!

Cathy Holman used the Merry Tags Framelits Dies for this festive card.  Love all the embossing and bling.

JoAnn Graham made this cute card using lots of masking and sponging.  I love that it looks super textured but the surface is so smooth to the touch.

Kathy Weston made us each this beautiful framed art using the Star of Light bundle.  The photos doesn't do all the sparkle in this piece justice.  Matches wonderfully with the silver frame.
