Color Me Autumn!

Yesterday I chaperoned a band trip to an away football game which we won 42-0. I always hate for the other team to not score at least once.  They came close at one point, but didn't make it.  They ended up running out the game and not stopping the clock so it was a short second half.  Today, we're off to another marching competition so I'll be spending most of the weekend with the band.  Lots of fun but I'm glad we only have one more competition after today - woohoo!!!  They keep making those buses with smaller and smaller seats - my knees don't even fit in them, I have to sit sideways!

I received My Paper Pumpkin kit yesterday and will be working on that tomorrow - I can't wait!  I'm also excited about the SUDSOL Blog Tour on Monday so you won't want to miss out on that.

Today, I have a couple guest CrEW Stampers (while I finish up with my band activities).  This first project is from Janet Hathcoat and features our new black and white DSP - Back to Black.  Doesn't look black and white does it?  Maybe, it's magic?    No, just the wonderful use of our Stampin' Write Markers!!!

The flowers are from the Flower Shop stamp set and punched with the Pansy Punch.

Janet has colored each of the feathers with the markers in fall colors.  You could do this with any combination to fit your occasion and to match your card stock - cool!!!
Supplies used:
Flower Shop & Tiny Tiny Wishes stamp sets
Pansy, Word Window and Modern Label Punches
Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Hello Honey and Wild Wasabi card stock
Stampin' Write Markers, Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker's Twine, Back to Black DSP
Wild Wasabi, Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon ink

Our second card today is from CrEW Stamper Brenda Fasulo.  This lovely tri-fold card has a fun surprise inside.  Brenda showcases several of our fall items from the Holiday Mini Catalog - Color Me Autumn DSP, For All Things stamp set, Fall Fest stamp set and Fun Fall Framelits Dies.

The center window is cut out with the Deco Labels Collection Framelits.  I loved how she used the Color Me Autumn DSP for an envelope liner.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but she used Versamark, Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter over the stamped pumpkins so they're nice and sparkly.

Here's the surprise - the inside of the card has a pocket to hold your personal sentiment!  A little washi tape and ribbon on top of the slider make it pop.
