I'm so happy to be home from our Florida vacation!!!! We had a great time and visited 9, yes 9, sets of family. We traveled to Tallahassee to spend the 4th with my oldest daughter Kim, then off to Bradenton Beach to visited my brother and his family, along with my Dad and his significant other Marilyn, and a surprise visit from Marilyn's son's family. Then off to Lakeland for a night at my Dad's, then down to Port St. Lucie to see John's parents, sister and family and brother and his kids. Some time at the beach, then a dessert and coffee with our brother-in-law and his mother. After a couple days, we headed up to Orlando and had dinner with John's nephew and his family, then a day at Universal Studios to see the new Harry Potter area. We ended up getting home a day late due to weather and a long lunch in Tallahassee on the way home. 2 days of laundry, unpacking and doing some household chores and I can now do what I want to do. Yes! I think I need a vacation to recover from the vacation!!
Today's card is from Demonstrator Reta D. and uses the Flower Patch stamp set and coordinating Flower Fair Framelits Dies. Reta's card won the "Best in Show" swap at our meeting last month. Congrats!!!

I'm loving how all these stamps and dies go together. TIP: When stamping large block images like these flowers, it helps to use one of our Stampin' Pierce Mats to lay the card stock on before stamping. It gives just a little to make sure the stamp completely presses on your card stock. |

Here's a closer look on how the dies and stamps work together. The best part is the stamps are clear photopolymer so it's super easy to line up the images. |
