I have to share a funny story with you.  Do you ever have one of the moments when you stop and say to yourself,  "That's one of those things I never thought I would say?"   Katie and I were out shopping yesterday at the fabric store (I'm getting ready for the Lil Bita Christmas craft show here in town), and were having 12" strips of fleece cut.  After cutting a few different patterns, the worker asked me what I was making and I just looked at her and replied, "hats for candy bars."  All of us just looked at each other and starting laughing.  Katie and I went to lunch after and would just start giggling.  The things we say.....

I didn't do that in most of the photos this week (time crunch), but it adds a lot of dimension to the projects.  Always sponge in the same color of your card stock, with the exception of white.  Use a gray/sand/or other light color to sponge white card stock depending on the look you want.  I will use White Craft ink to sponge black.  Too cute!  I love this one. Punches used are:  1" Circle, 3/4" Circle, Owl Builder (smallest & medium eye pieces), Boho Blossoms (large and small flower), Petite Pennants Builder. Cut the triangle in half, cut largest flower in half and then one half in half again. Glue eyes to 3/4" circle and triangle behind head to make beak.  Glue to body as shown. Glue 1/4 of largest flower behind body for tail.  Glue small flowers behind body with just 3 scallops sticking out for the feet. Add the wing with a Stampin' Dimensional to pop it up!  How cute is that?!
