First, I want to start off bragging about my oldest daughter Kim.  She's currently in grad school at Florida State.  She is getting a master's degree in Film Production.  She was just accepted into the Austin Film Festival!  Whoohoo - that's a biggie!  I'm adding a link -  Austin Film Festival. You need to look under the line up and then download the shorts.  Her film is "The Man in the Moon".  This was her thesis film as an undergrad at the University of Central Florida.  Here  is an invitation I made for her screening back in May.
Moon invitation
I used circle punches and dies for the 2 layered moon.  I used Shimmer Paint mixed with alcohol to spray on the card base.  The door was made with the Peekaboo Frames Die.  When you open the door, it says "You're Invited".  The test tube is a prop from the film filled with "moon rocks".

Here's another treat holder using the Googly Ghouls set and the Glassine Bags and tags from the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit.

This adorable kit comes with 10 glassine bags, 50 self-adhesive googly eyes, 20 double sided tags, and 10 8" pieces of Pumpkin Pie Baker's Twine.  You have enough supplies to make 10 cute treat bags, plus extra googly eyes and tags for more projects.  The cost is only $7.95 per kit which is less than $1 per project with left overs to boot!

I used the Chevron Embossing Folder to give the bag a little more texture.  I inked both side of the embossing folder with Tangerine Tango ink, then put the bag inside and ran it through the Big Shot.  Voila!  Color and texture in one fell swoop!

Isn't Frankie adorable?  He has a little Tangerine Tango trim on his shirt left over from another project I was working on today.

Here's the last of my handmade birthday cards:

This card was made by Janet Beck from my Wynne stamping group.  You can't tell on the photo, but the 50 and the butterfly are both shimmery.  You can't have enough bling!

The butterfly shape is actually cut out of the black texture card stock and the embossed butterfly is showing through. The inside has another embossed butterfly.  Not Stampin'Up!, but still beautiful!  Thanks Janet!
