Projects for Dads....

Here are a couple masculine cards and a fun Hershey Bar packet that's perfect for Father's Day.

The coffee cup die is retired, but the Balloon Celebration and Timeless Textures stamp sets are still available.

Cased from Brian King

Use a 6" x 6" piece of DSP, then score at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2", and then score at 5-1/2" on the other side for a bottom flap, miter tab corners and adhere to make a pocket.  Add a cute tag and a Hershey bar fits right inside.  

That Thing You Did...

We had a class recently using That Thing You Did stamp set (now retired).  I thought they were fun cards, so I wanted to share them with you.  We only made 3 at the class, but I had a few extras.  

(Yes, I'm hording the Black Glimmer Paper from the Holiday Catalog - so sue me - I love glimmer paper)

This was a fun technique using sponge daubers on watercolor paper and then adding water.

Dies are from the Botanical Builder Framelits.

High Five...

I have a great fun fold congratulations card to share today.  We made this at Stamporee and used That Thing You Did stamp.  I'm loving this set so much that I'm having a class later in the month with it.  Woohoo!

This is the card closed.  I used the new It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack, Circles Collection Framelits Dies, Star Punch and the "yay" is from the Circle Card Thinlits Dies.

That Thing You Did & You Little Furball...

Today's project is a funny thinking of you card.  I used That Thing You Did and You Little Furball stamp sets.  I cased this card from Lydia at Understand Blue and you can check out her card here.  I thought it was super fun, so I changed it up a bit and made this one.

I used some of the fantastic Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper in our Sale-a-bration collection along with some of our Basic Black 3/8" Satin Ribbon.  This is super quick, cute and funny card.

I have 3 cards to share with you today.  The first one was designed by my youngest daughter, Samantha (18), for her friend who has a birthday on Halloween.  No stamps, but she hand drew and pieced the card together using Stampin'Up! card stock and Paper Snips.  

Her friend (same age) loves getting her handmade cards and she's going to school out of state.  This one took about 6 hours to make.  Now that's friendship for you! 

The next card is from Crew Stamper Laura Diamond.  Laura sent me this awesome congratulations card after I reached my $200,000 in lifetime sales.  

This is the front of the card.  Laura used a combination of the Bravo and That Thing You Did stamp sets (both on sale this week).  The 200K was cut from Gold Foil Paper using the Little Letters and Little Numbers Thinlits Dies.  I'm loving all the great colors.

The last project for today is from my friend, Pam Crane.  Halloween is her favorite holiday and she always sends me a great Halloween card.

Pam found a great spiderweb window die and used it for the front of the card.  It has a Window Sheet behind the spider web and a cool sponged sky.  Adorable!  Thank you Pam!
