A Halloween box of chocolates

Kick up your treats a notch with a Halloween box filled with gourmet Ghirardelli chocolates.  This adorable box will fit 3 chocolate squares and is super quick and simple to make.

The box was made with Summer Starfruit CS cut at 8" x 4-14".  Score the box on the long side at 2", 3", 5" and 6".  Core on the short side at 1" and 3-1/4".  Cut flaps at score lines and cut off first 2 flaps on one end.  Assemble with Sticky Strip.

A 2" x 8" strip of Witches' Brew DSP was glued around the box, overlapping in the back. 

The tag is from the Tags 4 You stamp set and markers were used to ink and stamp.  The tag was punched with the Label Bracket punch.  I also colored 2 of the smallest pearls with a black sharpie and added them to the spiders.  The strip of 3 pearls were colored with an orange sharpie and added to the flap on the box.  The Black CS (1-1/4" x 2-1/4") was glued to the front flap and tucks behind the tag.

Today's project is from CrEW Stamper Kathy Weston.  Kathy made this beautiful Thanksgiving tag using the Gorgeous Grunge (one of my new favs) and the Tags 4 You stamp set in the Holiday Mini.  

The Gorgeous Grunge set works for almost any style of background.  Layering colors and texture can elevate your project to the next level.  Kathy used a combination of ribbons - Soft Suede Taffeta, organza, Linen Thread and raffia.  

The tag image was punched with the new Label Bracket punch and the Rhinestones were colored with a marker

The fun detail on the tag was made from purchased fall beads and accessories.

Our last guest CrEW Stamper this month is Mary Harvey.  This wonderful card features our new Washi Tape.  Mary is now the self-proclaimed "Queen of Washi" and rightfully deserving. Halloween is also her favorite holiday, so she loves making Halloween cards.

The Washi tape was layered on a piece of Whisper White card stock, then a section was cut out and the inside corners rounded.

Today's card is a beautiful Thanksgiving card by CrEW Stamper Sharon Milburn.  Lots of layers and embellishment add to the richness of this project.  Sharon loves to embellish and always does it so tastefully!

I love this wood grain background from the Truly Grateful stamp set. 

Sharon colored the wheat with Old Olive, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango and a little Cherry Cobbler.  She used ink pads and the Aqua Painters.
