We had our Demonstrator team meeting last night and I can't tell you how much I enjoy those meetings!  It's a really fun group of ladies and so talented!  Yikes!  We had make and takes, swaps, challenges and some sharing of projects.  We also had some great food - so thank you to everyone for participating!  A few of the Demonstrators had some Halloween projects so I wanted to share those over the next few days for some last minute ideas.  

Three of our swaps were Halloween themed:

This cute treat holder is from Jamie King.  She used the a diaper fold to create this little pouch.  You can find a tutorial on how to make it here.  Yes, I'm eating the candy and I type this post - it's hard work, don't judge me.  The tag is from the Merry Everything stamp set.  

This fun card is from Mary Harvey and features the Howl-o-ween Treat set and Boo to You Framelits Dies.  She also used the Woodlands Embossing folder for the background, the Washi Tape punch and the Among the Branches stamp set for the eyes.  

Here's the inside of the card.  I love the owl peek-a-boo window.  The tag image is from the Sweet Hauntings stamp set.  

This adorable card is from Vicky Collins.  Vicky loves owls and made an adorable Halloween scene with this punched owl and the Howl-o-ween Treat & Boo to You Bundle, with a few other punches.  I love the sponging around the moon.

Mini Halloween Treat Holders and Weekly Deals

As promised, here are a few more fun Halloween Treats to share today.

This treat is from our Halloween Treat Class.  It starts with a 2" x 8-1/2" piece of Tangelo Twist card stock, then it's punched on both ends with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Fold it in half and wrap a decorated belly band around it, tie in some ribbon and you have a quick and easy treat holder.  It has a mini Hershey Bar inside.  The belly band (Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper) is not attached to the base, so it can slide out.  The image is stamped with the A Little Something stamp set.  The pumpkins are colored and there are a couple Rhinestones to add a little bling.  I used the Tangelo Twist 5/8" Striped Ribbon and Silver Cording for the top.  

I have to give credit to Allison Okamitsu for this adorable coffin treat holder.  You can find her original creation on her blog, nicepeoplestamp.blogspot.ca.  The Gift Card Envelope Thinlits Dies were used to make the coffin (with a few adjustments).  I used the Merry Everything stamp set, along with a little Gone Wild Designer Series Paper Stacks and Silver Cording - my new favorite!!  A couple little Air Heads candies fit right inside.  

This last project is from my friend Kat Williams.  She gave me this at our last class and it's too adorable not to share.  I apologize for the fuzzy photo!  It's a cute matchbook holder using some retired stamps and paper, but the best part is the inside.  

Here's the inside of the holder.  Two mints with some punched circles and the upside down verse make an adorable face!  The verse is also fits perfectly.  Great job Kat!!!

Today's project is this fun roll up treat holder I came up with last week.  It used the Oval Accent Die and the new Note Tag Punch.

The mouth is made with the Decorative Label Punch and the fangs are made with the smaller arrow in the What's Up Punch.

The image is from the Merry Everything stamp set.  2 fruit roll ups fit perfectly in the pocket.

Merry Everything, including Cafe Gift Bags!

I don't know about you, but I love baking during the holidays.  Cookies, candied orange peel, fudge, mmm......I may have to start early.  The new Petite Cafe Gift Bags in the Holiday Mini Catalog are perfect for those homemade cookies or other fun treats.  The bags are lined and food safe with a great closure to keep your treats fresh.  The bags can be stamped, or as I show here, embossed and sponged.

The tags are made with the Merry Everything stamp set and Note Tag Punch.  The bag was run through the Big Shot with the Northern Flurry embossing folder (perfect for Christmas).  About 2 cups of animal crackers fit in this bag.  

Here's a close up of the tag which was colored with markers.   The new Olive Two-Tone Trim is perfect with the bags.  I used a little of the Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine to tie the tag to the bow.  Two Cherry Cobbler tags were overlapped behind the image to make a layered tag.
