Red, white and blue mania...

I had assigned a red, white and blue challenge to my team in May and they came up with some great projects.  I thought I'd share those with you today.

Little treats for everyone.  

Patriotic greetings...

I hope everyone had a festive and safe 4th of July.  We had family over, then I went down to Little Rock with my sister for a couple days.  I'm now back home and trying to catch up.  I wanted to share a few patriotic projects with you.

This card was made with the Swirly Scribbles and Stars dies and the Thoughtful Banners stamp set with the coordinating new Classic Label punch.  The background is embossed with the Stars embossing folder.  

The same products were used to make this fun Hershey Nugget holder using our new 2x8 Cello Bags.

We made these at our demonstrator meeting and it was designed my Crew Demonstrator Kathy Weston - cute! Nothing better than a little Uncle Sam punch art!

This pretty card was made by Crew Demonstrator Sharon Milburn for a red, white and blue challenge.

Getting ready to celebrate July 4th!

Today I wanted to share some fun 4th of July treat packaging and a card.  The first treat is one we made in our workshops this month.  It uses the Star Framelit Dies.

I cut 2 of the largest star using Real Red card stock and one of the next size down for the Night of Navy star.  

Celebrate is from the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set and the "USA" is cut with the Little Letters Thinlits Dies.  

The next treat bag is from Demonstrator Kathy Weston.  She made these for our swap.

She used the Petite Cafe Gift Bags along with Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White & Night of Navy card stock. The stars (non SU) were punched from ret. Silver Glimmer Paper and the words are from the retired Memorable Moments set.  Love the addition of the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine and Silver Mini Metallic Clothespin.   

The next project is something I made up for Jackie to take to D.C. with the VanScoy family for July 4th (I made one for each of them, not just Jackie).

I used the retired polka dot gift bags (I stocked up on these) and made a cute tag to go with it.  Lots of fun sized treats inside.  

This next fun item was something Demonstrator JoAnn Graham had us make at our Demonstrator meeting Tuesday night.  Let me tell you we had a blast!!!

We took 1/2 of a toilet paper roll, covered it inside and out with Whisper White card stock, then put a balloon on one end and added a strip of Night of Navy card stock around the middle.  We cut up confetti with our Fringe Scissors and made a manual popper.  FUN!

My last project today is a card that Kathy Weston had us do for a make and take on Tuesday night.

We used Whisper White, Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler.  Silver Glimmer Paper added a bit of bling.  the stamps and stars are retired, but we have lots of star options in our catalog.  

I love the fun closure she had us make.  The blue star holds the card closed.

July 4th is only a couple days away, so I wanted to share a couple banners with you.  The first banner is small and we made these in our workshops in June.  The large stars were made with the star punch (retired) and the smaller stars were punched with the new star image from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.
