Friends & Flowers, Day 1...

One of the fun new stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog is the Friends & Flowers stamp set.  It coordinates with the Festive Flower Punch that has carried over from the Holiday Catalog.  This set has lots of different pieces so you can build your own friends.  We made several cards in a class last month using these wonderful products, so I'll be sharing them over the next few days.

Today's project is just a simple sunflower card.

There are two layers of eight petals each.  I've used the cross hatched background image from the You've Got This stamp set and the sentiment is from the Fabulous Four stamp set.  

Here's a little closer look at those fabulous layers.  Since this is meant to go in the mail, I didn't pop up the layers and kept it to two with an embossed center.
