Lots of Joy at Christmas...

Only a few more days until Christmas is here!  Katie and Kim are coming home tonight so everyone will be here.  Lots of cooking, games, movies, etc. planned for the weekend.  I'm sharing a few more days of holiday cards and then will post some sneak peeks starting after the 25th.  Today's cards were made with the Lots of Joy stamp set from the annual catalog.  I love the versatility of this set.  It's perfect for tags, has several verses/words, a texture stamp and a couple larger stamps for cards.  I've already shown a couple tags made with this set, so now here are some cards.

I used Real Red and Cucumber Crush for this bright color combination.  The Holiday Foil Fancy Designer Vellum adds a nice glimmery touch to the top half of the card and I've also added a little Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, some Silver Cording Trim and a few Rhinestones.  The holidays should always have some bling.  Oh, plus the Tree Punch coordinates perfectly with the tree image on this card!!!

This card uses Smokey Slate and Cherry Cobbler for a more elegant approach to this stamp set.  I've stamped the ornaments then added a Silver Glimmer Paper circle on top of the center ornament.  I drew the lines with the Smokey Slate marker and added a few Rhinestones to this card as well.  Super quick but elegant and fun too.
