Holiday treats...

Here are a couple holiday treats we made at the Christmas in August event.  I sold a variation of these at the Lit'l Bita Christmas show and they were a big hit.

I had a ton of 11" x 3" strips of Real Red card stock left over from curvy boxes, so I decided to make these fun little pockets. I cut them down to 10", scored 3/8" on each side to make tabs, folded in half, then ran them through the Brick Wall embossing folder to make them look like chimneys.  I added a Santa from Santa's Gifts stamp set, a Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper circle and a piece of striped ribbon.  3 peppermint sticks fit inside.  

This cute cocoa holder was made with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits dies and some Real Red Envelope paper.  I folded a piece of 1-1/4" Vanilla Striped Ribbon around it (plus a little to hold on the spoon), then ties with Vanilla Thick Baker's Twine and a Snowflake Element.  The cup is from the Cup of Cheer stamp set and was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder.
