Holiday Kits, a New Class and more Christmas ideas!

If you're not on my email list, I sent out a reminder that the deadline to sign up for my Season to Season Wreath Class is September 8th.  The class is September 28th at 6:30pm at my house and the cost is $35.  We will be adding to and tweaking the garlands for the wreath just a bit.  Here is a peek at the kit:

I have two cards from our Christmas swaps to share with you today.  They each feature a focal point on their card, with some wonderful texture added.  

This card was designed by Natalie Gatlin and uses the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and coordinating Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies.  The wreath was stamped on a Crumb Cake card stock and heat embossed first with a glittery green powder, then a glitter red powder for the berries. I love the little bow!  Additional texture was added to the card with a fun burlap mat behind the Real Red card stock.  Rustic, glittery and gorgeous all at the same time!

Carrie Ray designed this beautiful card using the Bird Builder Punch to create this poinsettia.  You can see the inner circle of petals is the wing and the outer circle and leaves are made with the bird body.  Some Rhinestone Jewels add a touch of bling to the center of the flower.  The background was embossed with a retired embossing folder, then lightly sponged with Old Olive ink.  The base of the card is black and makes the card front pop.  Beautifully creative!!!
