Single Layer Swaps - Day 5...

I tell you ... I am loving these single layer cards!  I have two cards to show you today that have no further cutting than cutting a sheet of card stock in two.  Image, with a pack of Whisper White or Very Vanilla card stock, you could have 80 cards ready to go in no time!  These two cards involve some stamping and a quick masking & sponging technique to give them beautiful backgrounds.  

Our first card today is from Stampin'Up! Demonstrator Denise Kasanda from Darien, IL.  Denise used the Oval Framelits Collection to create a mask, then sponged inside with Crumb Cake ink.  The images were then stamped on top of that.  

I love the collage look of this card with the Awesomely Artistic stamp set.  Beautiful card Denise!

Our second card today is from Demonstrator Lisa Lange in Mount Prospect, IL.  You can visit Lisa's blog at stampinglisa.com.    Lisa used the same technique to create her card with the Wild About Flowers stamp set.  

Lisa added a dry embossed border around the outside of her card.  Beautiful!
