Single Layer Swaps - Day 1!

I had the opportunity to host my first Convention swap and decided to do a single layer swap.  We had 15 participants and they came up with some fantastic cards!  I thought I share them over the next few days.

I had two cards which featured a background and a die cut focal point with some embellishment.  The first one is from our very own Crew Stamper, Laura Diamond.

Laura used the Watercolor Wings stamp set and coordinating dies to make this beautiful card.  The bottom layer of the butterfly is Vellum card stock stamped with Bermuda Bay & Black ink.  The top butterfly layer is die cut with Basic Black.

The second card today features a super fun and bright birthday card from Glenda Travelstead - LOVE IT!!!

Glenda created a great background with our brights inks with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, then the sentiment is made using the Little Letters Thinlits Dies and the Age Awareness stamp set.
