Guest stampers show us butterflies two ways!

I have two special guest stampers today, both with beautiful butterfly cards.  Both used the Butterflies Thinlits Dies and one used the new Bold Butterfly Framelits which coordinate.  The first card is from Crew Stamper Brenda Fasulo.  She has a fun butterfly card using a few different techniques.  The butterfly is cut from the card front and heat embossed several times using Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, then placed back into the card front.  The front is then layered on a piece of Watercolor Paper which Brenda had painted with a blend of inks to create a soft background for the butterfly.  She stamped the words from the Trust God stamp set with Memento ink.  The flowers are from the World of Dreams stamp set and she used the marker on stamp technique.  Great job Brenda!

The second card is from Crew Stamper Sharon Milburn.  Sharon used the same butterfly die, but also used the new Bold Butterfly Framelits to cut another one from Vellum card stock, then sponged it with Delightful Dijon ink.  Sharon also used our new English Garden DSP and some Mossy Meadow 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon.  Beautiful job Sharon!

Don't you love that designer series paper?  The ribbon also adds a nice touch.
