Butterfly Basics!

I hope everyone is about to enjoy their holiday weekend. We've had a nice relaxing week here.  Two movies and some games.  Looking forward to this weekend.

I have 2 cards to share with you today using the Butterfly Basics stamp set.  The first one is a card we made in our single layer card class a while back.  We used Naturals Ivory card stock which is now retired, but Very Vanilla would work perfectly.  The ink colors are Crumb Cake and Black StazOn.

The butterfly was stamped on Crumb Cake card stock and cut out with the Butterflies Thinlits die.  A little Linen Thread adds the final touch.  

The second card is from Crew Stamper Janet Hathcoat.  Janet used some of our new In Colors for her card (Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Delightful Dijon).  The card base is Tip Top Taupe.

Janet also used some Linen Thread and her verse was cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelits.
