Yesterday I bought a big pack of chicken breasts and used one to make fajitas for dinner. I put the rest in the oven so we could use it for sandwiches, salads and whatever. In the middle of cooking, I had to leave and pick up Samantha from bowling. I left the chicken baking and took fajitas off the burner. I came home and finished up the fajitas which were yummy. About 10pm, while I was stamping, Samantha comes upstairs and asks me if I was cooking anything. Yep, the chicken breasts were still in the oven! 5 hours of cooking. We had a good laugh and I was going to throw them out but my husband insisted he would eat them. So, we have a ziplock bag of giants chunks of chicken jerky in the fridge that he will be gnawing on all week - lol! I, on the other hand, will be having salads without chicken!
