My card today uses the Cool Kid stamp set from the Occasions Catalog. This was one of our workshop projects in February.
|
I'm loving how fun and quirky this stamp set is. I also used a couple of our Sale-a-bration items on this card (the embossing folder and banner punch) |
|
The words are heat embossed and along with the Red Glimmer Paper, add a nice touch |
Supplies used:
Card stock: Whisper White, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Red Glimmer Paper
Inks: Versamark, Black StazOn, Real Red Marker
Misc.: Cool Kid stamp set, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder (SAB), Banner Punch (SAB), White Embossing Powder, 2-1/2" Circle punch, Circles Framelits Dies
Those of you in our area know the weather we've been experiencing, but for those of you in sunnier locations, I thought I'd share a bit of what it looks like here.
|
No, that's not snow (maybe 1" of snow), it's ice. |
|
That step is about 6" ice and the ice is up to the top. |
|
This is my favorite. That pile of ice is about 2-1/2" feet blocking my back door. I predict it will take about 2 weeks to melt, maybe 3. I'll give you an update in a few days and we'll see if it goes down any. You can see that plastic chair is almost completely submerged. |
That's it for today. Off for prom shopping - wish us luck!!!
