We'll it's our second snow day in a row. It's currently sleeting fairly heavily and our road out front is covered with ice again. Samantha rejoiced when we received the call last night that school was cancelled today. We slept late, although John left to go Huntsville, AL at 5:00am for training - ugh. We did a little shopping yesterday and bought a new dining room set - woohoo! This is our first new dining room set ever! We had a set from John's parents that was their first set, and was at least 60 years old or more. We've been looking forever and just hadn't found what we liked. We found one yesterday, not perfect, but almost and they delivered it the same day. I'll post a photo tomorrow, so check back.

I thought I'd share one more card using the new Happy Watercolor stamp set. We made this at our Monday morning class last week.

| Since the card is very simple, a little bit of special detail makes the card pop. The flower was stamped once on the card, then stamped twice on Perfect Plum and once on Daffodil Delight card stock. I cut one whole flower out, then a smaller layer out and then the center out of the yellow. Pop up the center layer, add a Rhinestone or Pearl Jewel and there you are! |
