My Girl Scout Troop started sewing on their quilts last week. My living room has become a staging area for sewing machines, bags of t-shirts, fabric and misc. other supplies. I have 3 that have started sewing and several who are still working on cutting and ironing on backing. Here are a couple photos of the girls.

Jackie is making a Tardis to put on the back of her quilt (Dr. Who fans will understand). |

Lillie has missed a bit because of Mock Trial and other school activities, so she's working on cutting her shirts. She's had some emotional trauma cutting her shirts and letting them go - lol! But she'll have them forever anyway, just keeping her warm in a different way. |
Here's a card from Karen Mickel using the Hearts a Flutter stamp set.
|
She's used the More Amore Specialty DSP, along with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. |
|
For the focal point of the card, she used a Designer Builder Brad with a cupcake in the center. |
