The Crew Quarters

Today's project is a cocoa holder/card using the Scentsational Season stamp set, Holiday Collection Framelits Dies and the Candlelight Christmas Specialty DSP.

I always like to match the color of the cocoa packet to the paper I use if at all possible. The Early Espresso when perfect with this cocoa.  I used a sheet of DSP out of the Candlelight Christmas Specialty pack.  

Here are the instructions:

Cut your DSP down to 8-1/2" x 11".  Place it wrong side up.  

Fold in half from the bottom:

Fold in half again to make a standard card (creases are on the bottom).

Open back up with the wrong side showing - note creases.  

Place the Diagonal Score Plate on the Simply Scored Tool, making sure arrows on back point towards the left instead of up.  This will make the diagonals go in the direction we want.

Place DSP in top right corner, and score down and to the left at the 4-1/4" mark (center of paper). Rotate the paper and do this again on the opposite corner.  

Fold and crease on those diagonal score lines.  

Fold in half from the bottom.

Fold in half again to the left like a card.  This will give you a pocket on the outside and a pocket on the inside.  

Add a little Sticky Strip to hold the pockets closed.

Stamp your image and place the die over it and run through the Big Shot.  I used the Lucky Limeade and Early Espresso Markers to color the cup. 

I layered this on a piece cut from the Labels Collection Framelits and used our new Early Espresso 3-1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon to tie the project closed.  A Rhinestone added a touch of bling.  

The inside has a pocket where you can insert a removable card.  

I stamped the cup again and the sentiment is from the Got Treats stamp set.
