Okay, so I'm super excited about the wreath class now.  The forms FINALLY came in (despite some of them being broken) and I was able to make my sample.  SUPER CUTE!!!!  I think I have 2 spots left if anyone is interested.  I'm ordering the supplies tonight.

This week, our showcase stamp set is Scentsational Season from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I love this set!!   It coordinates with the Holiday Collection Framelits Dies, and you can even purchase them together in a bundle and SAVE!!

So, we had our downline meeting last Thursday, and in celebration of World Cardmaking Day, we all brought a shoebox swap.  How lucky that a couple of wonderful ladies used this stamp set?  I think it was fate.  Unfortunately, World Cardmaking Day is the first Saturday of October.  I have a marching band competition that I organize on that day, so alas, until all my kiddies graduate from high school, I will continue to be occupied on that most auspicious of occasions ...... one day ........ sigh......

Our first card this week featuring the Scentsational Season stamp set was designed by Janet Hathcoat.

We die cut the shapes out of the Crumb Cake card stock, then on the Whisper White card base, we used the Jumbo Sticky Rounds and stuck strips of ribbon down to show through the cut out shapes.  How cute is that?  We also added a little detail around the shapes and edges with the White Gel Pen.

Here's a closer look.  For the tree and gingerbread man, we used Old Olive and Chocolate Chip 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon.  For the candy cane, we used Real Red and Whisper White 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.   

Should we throw away the cut out pieces?  I don't think so!  Check in tomorrow to see what I made with them..
